1. Can you petition for full custody of your daughter? The way I see it, if you keep her around just to be with your daughter, your ex is just going to screw you over again at some point. What she did wasn't a “mistake”, it was her burning every bridge she had with you, other than your daughter.

   I also would question the idea of sponsoring her. I don't know all that that entails, but I wouldn't trust her at all.
