My husband loves Zelda and he is hoping that breathe of the wild 2 has a 2 player mode so we can play together, because he has absolutely tried several times to get me to find a game I really like (not a gamer at all). I have actually seen my husband pull a video game character impression before and while I laughed really hard (I understood the reference) I also said please don’t do that again and he never did it again. You have to be up front op, tactful but up front. Relationships are communication and while feelings might get bruised it shouldn’t shatter their ego or soul. The longer you don’t say something the more you become embarrassed and annoyed and the more it’ll hurt his feelings because he’s going to wonder how long you were sitting on that.
