I think your behavior here is commendable. It was a tough situation, and Every situation is a little different, and everyone has a different tolerance for personal risk, and you need to balance that against the desire to protect the other person. YOu clearly DID put yourself at risk and took a chance by standing up to the man following her, but you apparently decided that the risk was acceptable. But you know things could have gone MUCH worse than they turned out. Perhaps your friend has had bad experiences that led him not to intervene, but it would have been nice if he’d supported you in this situation.

If you want to leave him, let him handle it himself. He won't do it which will make leaving him easier fir you.
If you want to stay together make sure he understands you expect to shut her efforts down in no uncertain matter. Explain you expect it with any woman, whether he is coworker or his boss. Make sure he understands this is about whst is more important in his life, and it will be a deal breaker for you, if he does change how he deals with her, and any person going after him.
