1. Hey OP- maybe just miscommunication of how urgent the help was and the context. If someone says help for non urgent things it might be missed as something urgent. I was home by myself with a chest cold when I was 13 or 14 and a huge wad of mucous got stuck like plaster in my throat and I couldn’t breathe. I was in the bathroom and started jumping up and down trying to dislodge it and saw my face in the mirror- my lips were turning blue amd my face lost all its colour. I was home alone and was going to try and run into the counter and thought this was it. I coughed again and threw up. I was shaking so naked it is one of the most frightening things that happened. So if I got a text with any reference to choking I’d be there in a heart beat. It’s scary. Especially if the word choking and help are there. I can see how you interpreted it but anything remotely close to choking is worth a check.

3. The studies thing is that I have more things to do atm than her – I added an edit, but what I meant was that she has a lot of free time because she is ahead of schedule.
