2. As a person who got married and was told by my ex-wife that statement after we married and other things that happened in between, all I got to tell you is run. In her case I can imagine her parents probably put that mentality in her. I also grew up with independent sisters except my mom she was too dependent. But seeing that for my sisters in comparison to my ex and I try to tell her that she tried to make excuses and illogical reasoning and trying to defend her case. Later on I realized she wanted to be a like a trophy wife but nothing about her says winning.
