2. Your boyfriend is insecure. That’s why he keeps asking if something is wrong; he’s afraid it’s something he has done. It’s also the reason why he checks up on you all the time and cleans out your car. He’s probably afraid you’re going to leave him and he’s looking for signs that his suspicions are right.

   I know this because this was pretty much me lol. At some point I realized that it was all in my head and I just let it go.

   Don’t go too nude on your boyfriend although I realize that his behavior is annoying as hell. He’s just insecure, not possessive which is a big difference. Perhaps you can have a talk about it; ask him why he does that, tell him what his behavior does to you and try to find a way to get beyond this.
