2. Are you actually okay with it for now? Because it doesn’t particularly sound like it. It sounds like you’re hanging in there because, like you said, you’d “rather have her in some capacity than not at all”.

   I’ve been in relationships and “situationships” like that before, and I’m telling you now, they’re not good for you. If you ultimately want a monogamous relationship, then staying in this one is just stopping you from meeting someone who is on the same page as you. Don’t let your nude polyamorous fiancée who you share with her ex get in the way of you meeting your actual future wife.

   “Settling” doesn’t only mean settling for someone we’re not in love with. Sometimes we settle by being with someone we’re in love with, but in a relationship we don’t want. Never settle.
