Further, would he demand that an adult move off a couch because they were sitting in “his” spot? I'd recommend taking a bug step back and looking honestly at who he really is. Is he setting a good example for your children about the kind of person they should grow up to be or to date? Is he teaching them to be kind and generous and respectful while still maintaining his role as an authority figure? Or is he showing them something else altogether?
