In my own personal opinion I can side with your feelings and your perspective.
I don't think it is neccesarily wrong to keep pictures of an ex in a hidden folder just for old times sake of perhaps good memories you want to preserve. But then you shouldn't be secretive about it.
Furthermore, any “nudes” should be deleted out of respect for the person, no longer being in your life.
It is an act of lying and emotional betrayal towards the relationship (not specifically you).
The result leading to trust issues that you not have to deal with.

I agree the boyfriend is being a bit of a twat here, but in this thread I've seen a lot of women showing disdain that he's grossed out by them now. Which I do totally understand as, logically, you're correct.
However, as a man with a fickle set of proclivities I will say like, if something grosses you out and kills your boner, you really can't do anything about it. Ya know? Like with women it's possible to be dynamic and change and adapt. But as men, if we aren't into something sexually, there's a super obvious and unmistakable way to tell sticking off the front of our bodies.
