1. If he sees that you've only been with unattractive people and you're now currently seeing him, it's not hard to guess that he thinks that he must be unattractive as well.

   I am in the opposite situation where my partner has only really ever dated attractive people and I look like a troll, and though I try not to think about it, knowing that does give me a bit of a self esteem boost.

2. Never let a partner make you feel like you’re “broken” especially when it comes to sex. He’s on a high horse about not taking prescriptions and will probably never understand how they can seriously help or save lives. I’m not just talking about ones that help depression. His views are ignorant. The reason I think this is because I was ignorant of needing a prescription medication – until symptoms i thought i could fix on my own became something I actually was diagnosed with that I’ll have to take meds the rest of my life. But my tangent is beside the point. This guy doesn’t respect or believe that these meds help you. His impatience with the orgasms and his belittling of you for taking meds is wrong. And just because you’re going through something doesn’t make you any less able to suggest that he seek medical advice. It sounds like even if he were nice about it, you two would have fundamental differences in how you view medicine and bodily function. Far into the future you’d have to decide which way you would raise your kids, etc etc. I think you deserve a more patient and understanding partner who has the same values as you in regard to these kinds of things.
