I think you need to separate yourself from thoughts of her life prior to meeting you – she's allowed a past. All that matters is being supportive and caring.

Makes me wonder if he even went to where he said he was. Hypothetically if they were in the Midwest the flight could have been cancelled bc of weather. But if he said he's somewhere else then he'd have to lie. Hotels where he actually is have no availability bc everyone's flights were cancelled due to weather. OP cant book a room bc then he'd have to come clean where he actually is.
