1. So my boyfriend of six years didn't say I love you to me until 3 years in. I knew I loved him more or less a year in and the fact that he never said it was a massive source of contempt for me and made me feel shit about myself. Technically, I was the first to say it, but he was the first to SAY IT. I basically didn't say it because I was unsure if he would say it back.
