I agree he should always put his kids first; like I mentioned in the post his kids adore me and asked me if I was going to be there for Easter, there father asked the mother if I was invited to easter and she never replied so the boyfriend took it as a no and left it at that. One of our biggest disagreements is our difference in music taste. Which sounds mundane and simple, but music was and is a huge part of my life. I really enjoy concerts and even going to the orchestra. I enjoy performances. He does not. He'll make it such a big deal and poke fun of me and whatever musical artist(s) we're seeing the entire time. I've explained how that makes me feel. And I'm not giving up my love of music. Then it should only be a matter of reassurance and time. Don’t listen to people who’ll say her emotions are invalid. It’s your relationship and you clearly care about her. Prove you are trustworthy and just give her reassurance whenever she needs it for a while. And discuss. Discuss as often as needed for the two of you.
