Sorry, but even though you were INCREDIBLY lucky that your child wasn't hurt, it could have very easily had tragic results! After I gave birth to our third and last baby, my husband was home watching our first two under 4 years old children. He wasn't keeping a close eye with the children outside because he was talking with a neighbor and co-worker. Our Son, who was 3 took his tricycle down a set of about 5 steps in the middle of the complex's courtyard. He looked like he had done 5 full rounds with Muhammed Ali but thankfully had no broken bones and needed no stitches, just butterfly bandages. I lost my shit right there in the hospital when hubby brought the children to meet their new little Sister. That was 33 years ago and I STILL bring it up every now and then. Learn to live with it and own up to the fact that you were incredibly careless because YOU WERE! Own it and keep apologizing!
I am not score keeping. I have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety and complex post traumatic disorder. I experience paranoia about everything in my relationship and other areas of my life. I Google everyday if I overate something, if I do everything in my life enough or too much. I have been abused in all of my past relationships including family and romantic relationships. As a result I suffer from relationship anxiety. I look for signs subconsciously that I am not enough or I will get hurt again or that there is something fundamentally wrong with me.
Forgive and let go. It will bring you far more peace than getting revenge. Karma will find it’s way to him.
This is an amazing comment. Although I no longer qualify for most of the symptoms, I received a preliminary diagnosis of BPD as a teenager. The way OP is acting makes me sad since I used to be like her, but it is also a massive issue for others. She really needs to take in everything you said because these were the things I needed to learn to recover
