My (25f) husband (29m) got a knife and said he wanted to cut a tattoo off of me

For context, I left an ex due to abuse 4 years ago. I made the biggest mistake by tattooing his name on me. Well my husband was sort of trying to pick a fight with me. Told me I treated him like a bum because he would do things to purposefully annoy me and I would tell him to get off of me or to stop. He very often will do things and then when I react he plays victim, I don’t hit or yell at him or anything, I just tell him to stop or when he’s trying to get on top of me I’ll push him off and tell him to cut it out. Then he will say he’s so unappreciated and I treat him like shit. So tonight he was doing that, I told him to stop playing victim like my ex used to. Which I admit I shouldn’t have said. This pissed him off, so he started to say things like, “maybe if I put my hands on you, you’ll respect me more” and “you like that kind of stuff” and brought up said tattoo and said “will I be the king and get respect if I cut it off?” And “want me to cut it off” I ignored him while he was on his rant and watched TikTok. He started putting his hands in my face and trying to snatch my phone and I even tried to leave the room and he just followed me and kept on. Then goes to the kitchen and gets a knife and says he’ll cut it off. He didn’t try to stab me or do anything with it but still. I’d also like to note I am 8 months pregnant. He doesn’t see anything wrong with the way he acted. Am I being crazy?

  1. If you don’t have any eggs (not embryos, just eggs) in storage do that now. This will allow you to have children in the future regardless of what happens in your marriage. If you two split you won’t be able to use your current embryos. I would suggest marriage counseling but be prepared to end the marriage if he can’t give you a definite timeline on children. Good luck!
