Hate to say it but you’re just as guilty as your wife. You’re unemployed and you can’t bother to walk the dog or clean up after the dog either? You’re all a family and if you knew your wife was incapable of properly caring for an animal on top of the fact that you weren’t willing either, you should say no and she also needs to swallow the harsh pill of being a crappy pet owner.
You guys should give the pet to a shelter and don’t think about owning any pets in the future. You would do the pets an absolute disservice. Focus on raising your daughter instead.
