   I get hangry too but you know what, that’s why I tend to grab a handful of dried fruit or crackers or a little slice of cheese before walking out the door to go get food, because I can tell it’s that kind of day. We used to not keep snacks in the house much but when my kids were babies (which is a lot of strain on your sanity and marriage) we realized that every single fight we had was on the way to lunch or dinner or while cooking, and having snacks on hand helped a lot. And we are adults so we deal with it when we can feel the slide towards the abyss of hangriness coming

   Your boyfriend is an adult and he has a lot of options. When your meal got delayed he could have asked to stop at a convenience store for a small snack or a soda. When the restaurant first seated you he could have asked for a side of bread or a glass of juice. He could have said ‘please order me some bread while I go to the restroom.’ He has a lot of choices here

   You’re so anxious about managing everything for him and not letting him get hungry but… Why is this your job? Does he do anywhere near as much thinking about this as you did? If you were getting really hungry or thirsty or a caffeine headache or had terrible cramps or any other annoying thing bodies do would he try even 10% as much as you have to take care of you like you’re a child?

   It’s still a fresh relationship please just dump this man for an actual adult who knows if he gets crippling hunger headaches that he should carry some crackers or trail mix with him. It’s basic adulting

3. A job being advertised as remote and then not actually being remote is a HUGE red flag. This is the first step and the job/employer will get worse.

   This is likely not going to be a good job. Don’t lose your relationship for a crappy job. Keep looking for something that actually is remote.
