To be fair, OP didn’t actually “catch” her in a lie… she told him. If it had been me, I probably would have taken that to the grave. Also, unless there has been any actual infidelity in the 5 years they were dating, I would say OP really needs to think about if he can get past this. A 30 year old is not on the same life plan as a 20 year old.. in theory, a 30 year old is looking for stability, a career, a house, a family.. whereas a 20 year old is looking at college, part time jobs, partying… only 30 year olds you’ll be getting is married ones, ones with severe self esteem issues that they think they’re not deserving of love so will be so desperate for someone that they’ll settle for anyone, or someone that just wants a fun time-not a long time
