2. It is good for the two of you to admit that you both feel like it's starting to not work. I feel like this may be more of a (you are use to having him around and life would be weird with out him) type situation. I think it is normal to be weirded out by the thought of a SO being with someone else. But what you have to think about is that you both know that you are not really right for each other. So allow yourselves to move on and find people who are right for you both. Be happy about it and encourage it. Wouldn't you rather him be happy than miserable? I have seen on more than one occasion where a HS couple break up after a few years. Spend time apart and with other people just to get back together and live a very happy life together. That may be just what the two of you need. Is to venture out and experience other people for a while.
