How is therapy going for her, is this something that can be brought up in therapy. The best outcome for you is that she figures out how to come clean to your brother. I feel like you are stuck between a rock and a nude place, and if you have to be the one to break the news you might get anger/blame from all sides.
I get how that feels deceitful, but she was also 20 at that time. She was a college kid. That’s a time where you’re trying to figure out a lot. It is possible that she regretted hooking up in the past but also being curious and wanting to experiment. Try thinking about that conversation within the context of that time. Think about how little you knew each other, that you weren’t dating officially, that she might not have been sure about you, that she was 20 years old.
To give an example. My friend had a long time college buddy who she went through thick and thin with, but when she recently expressed her views on gun control, abortion, and general liberal viewpoints, she was met with utter shock.
Turns out her college buddy thought she was a right wing chap like himself for seven years. When she was recounting the story, she asked me “Is this how people see me? I never said anything to say that I was Republican/ that I had these views” but she concluded that she never said anything for people to think otherwise.
I suspect you don’t have realistic expectations. You yourself state several points on why you’re not an ideal partner but then the next sentence you say “I just want to sleep with hot girls”. In the nicest way possible “hot girls” are out of your reach, they’re out of most people’s reach. My advice, get into therapy, adjust your expectations, and learn how to be a worthy partner to whoever you may find.
