2. I completely relate to this! My SO used to do the hand waving signal to hurry my stories along, so I just stopped sharing as much. The kicker is that he has taken a liking to long (way too long) pauses in his storytelling for dramatic effect. I finally had to tell him that if he keeps that up, I'm going to resort to his hand waving technique to move the story along even if I find it rude as hell.
