Believe me, in our case, its absolutely my parents fault. I know people can develop their own opinions about things, but this wasn't that. I don't think things should be 50-50 unless you're both earning the same. If you're earning less – and it sounds like you're earning considerably less – then you should pay in proportion to your earnings.
