That is true. But I guess people are different, as in, they have different tolerance levels and handle stress and sleep deprivation differently. When I just had my son, I couldn't be away from him even for a minute. I would hold him all the time to the point where I was exhausted and hungry. As he got older and learned to sit up, babble, crawl, wobble-walk, he wanted more independence and less holding… so yeah I guess after 8 months of age things got a little easier (I would eat and rest a little more) but in all honesty I absolutely loved being with my son 24/7 and holding him as long as I could.
