You did the right thing. His moods are his problem. That he puts on you. They are not your fault. It’s like your boyfriend is so moody he gets to decide your mood too, and put it all on you. That’s just not the reality. Him acting like a lunatic behind the wheel of a 1000 pound vehicle is not ok. And you being put in a dangerous situation is not ok.
He sounds like he needs individual counselling, his maturity level just isn’t there. You answering questions in a way he deems snotty is his problem. Not yours.
I hope you really look at your relationship and realize his being erratic and blaming you isn’t the reality, it’s how man children avoid conversations so much of the time, note when you have conversations and he starts blaming you for his moods, and your tone, what are you discussing? Does he want to avoid the topic ? Is that when he starts attacking you? Because that’s a very old school trick that type uses to get out of conversations and change the topic, just something to be aware of. You don’t ruin his mood, he ruins his mood and blames you.
