Depression is this super fun cycle of “as soon as one thing happens, you get depressed, stop doing other things, get depressed because of that”
A lot of people I think, assume depression is like… Sobbing and crying and being visibly super sad all the time, it doesn't have to be. A lot of the time it just feels like you have anchors chained to your body dragging you into a void.
I'd have a very serious talk about her seeing a therapist, or a doctor. I spent most of my life before being diagnosed being told by the people around me that I wasn't depressed, I was just lazy, which makes it a lot worse.
