Seems like alcohol is your truth serum and your inner most thoughts came out. Clearly you are lacking the maturity needed to be in a long lasting relationship. You have two options. One work on yourself, give up drinking for at least a year, and go to therapy. Or you let her go and you go and get all the girls who love and want you. Hey! As someone else with gums that bleed with gentle brushing, the solution for me was to have my dentist go really really aggressively at my gums during a cleaning and then to follow a really strict twice a day brushing and flossing routine. Unfortunately I have the same “don’t brush before bed” tendency your husband does when I get lazy and that is in fact always what brings my gums bleeding back. However since having the dentist clean them aggressively, I can get the bleeding to stop by just not being lazy.
I have no idea if it’s the same for your husband but something to consider!
