Ughhhhh dude. For what it's worth, I felt this in my SOUL. Both my parents struggled with severe mental health issues throughout my childhood and feeling a sense of manic freedom and spiteful glee when you're finally free from that, about sums it up. After my dad put himself in the ground, I kinda ran off track for a while, aaaaaalmost followed right behind him.
Therapy, my dude. You are gonna have some baggage and bullshit leftover from a childhood like that to unpack and deal with. Now that you actually have the time and freedom and peace in your life to do it, you should really focus on your own mental health. You've gone and run amuck for a bit now, celebrating the end of this particular albatross around your neck. But now that the shock has worn off, therapy is what's going to help you process through what you're left with.
