1. I’m confused. If you guys have a dishwasher, why are dishes piling up?

   I’m not trying to be flippant, I just don’t understand. I online with my partner and his son. Neither of them empty the dishwasher and will put their dishes in the sink if I don’t have the washer emptied. But even so, it’s like two glasses and two plates or bowls and some utensils. Takes me less than 2 min to unload and reload.

   I dunno. If you and your partner are the ones mostly using the kitchen then I guess I don’t see it as a huge deal that you add a couple of mugs to the wash.

   She’s problematic for sure. But she’s not going to change. So best you can do at this point is make it less emotional for yourself and make the exit plan .

3. You can try telling him you’d really appreciate a goodnight text, but just know it’s illogical to think he is in more danger because he’s farther away from you.
