First of all, this guy is manipulative and downright scary. I'll echo what others have said and say break up with him.
Secondly, even if something is someone's favorite way of receiving love, that doesn't give them the right to demand it from their partner or pout when they don't receive it. And that isn't only true of sex. If your partner felt loved most when you spend time with him, if you needed some time to yourself and he pouted about it the whole time, that wouldn't bode well for the relationship, either.
There's also a difference between needing sex to feel loved and saying that sex is the only way your partner is allowed to show love.
And the whole threatening suicide to get his way thing…oh hell no. I'm 40 years old and have yet to see that lead anywhere good.
