1. While this is true, that she doesn't have to and it's certainly not a great thing for the kid either I wouldn't do just that yet. You're certainly right no doubt about it. But in that case a testimony of someone you consider to be your best friend is a huge proof. His actions later were misguided for sure, throwing her pregnant wife out without any proof ? That's stupid behavior but I also can't relate to the entire situation. That being said, I can understand it.

   OP really has everything she needs to make a decision and it's really just up to her, Ali is the only real asshole here. Her husband was stupid and is trying to make up to her but she doesn't have to think his efforts are enough or relevant. Maybe it's even beyond her own will especially since she spent really naked weeks.

   Make a decision based on if you can love the guy again i guess.
