So for some context me and me and my gf have been together for 5 months roughly and 2 months ago she met her new male best friend at a party I attended as well. They just had a chat but later they met at her local gym. We don’t live! very close to each other so we don’t go to the same gym or meet more than maybe 1-2 times a week. She met the guy and they started working out more and more frequently. Now it has come to the point where it’s not only working out but they hang out at her place whenever she has other friends over as well (so they’re never there alone), and he drives her around everywhere. In addition she told me he tried to hit on her when he was drunk but changed his mind because he knew about my relationship with her but he still does things I consider flirting with her like tickling her and wrestling her. Whenever they hang out together she answers me less and a couple days ago when he was there she didn’t answer me for hours. Eventually when she answered she said she talked with him about our relationship and he thinks it’s a bad idea that we’re together and she needed some time to think. I know this might sound hopeless and that I should probably just leave her but I know she’s not cheating with him my problem is that he definitely would step in at any chance and have tried to ruin the relationship but she won’t stop hanging with him because she says it’s her new best friend. Whenever I tell her I really don’t like that they’re hanging together she just thinks I’m jealous and tries to assure me nothing is going on between them and we always end up arguing about this. Recently she told me she is so tired of the arguing that she don’t know how much longer she can take it.
