1. I mean I never said any of those regulated drugs were bad. If you HAVE to go to them, that’s different.

2. Does his fiance have any responsibility in avoiding these situations?. She is a grown woman in a committed relationship. Shenis engaged to be married. There is no excuse for men behaving badly toward women but why go where predatory men are knowing what these places are about?

3. I’d say he’s more of a people pleaser who can’t say no or end a conversation. He is being honest with his wife/fiancée, to the point where I think he’s almost begging her to to force an end to the relationship with the ex. For now, immediately to end the situation, OP needs to be “bad cop” with the ex. Medium term the fiancé should probably get a bit of a spine.

   I'd be thinking about how being promoted from dirty secret to official GF simply leaves a vacancy, and I might just think it too loud which would probably count as drama so… nope, I'd hang out with the jilted friend or stay at home
