Same. A lot of situationships and relationships come from being friends first, so going back to friends with clear boundaries is an acceptable practice. I treat them no differently then any other friends and if one were to try to cross the line I’d simply reaffirm my partnership and let them know it’s unacceptable behavior.
My partner basically has ptsd from his ex girlfriend making him his whole world, no friends of her own, stuck to him, and they weren't even living together.
It's not just bad for him, having all your eggs in one basket and nowhere to go when things go wrong can be very scary.
If it's not a friend that he would be comfortable introducing you to and doing things as a group, it's not a friend.
Personally, I couldn't go on in a relationship knowing that he's filling out the depth chart for that relationship.
