I was 22 ,f, and my partner 34 ,m, When we met, knew each other a few months before we started dating and made sure to talk through the areas where an age gap can cause issues, like do you want kids and when? Are you thinking of buying property in the near future? Where do you want to be in five years. Our age difference has not caused our relationship any trouble, we’re at the same place in life. The thing is I started working at a big company when I was nineteen and got promoted a couple of times and right before I turned 22 I became a wearhouse manager, so money wise I was making more than him and he was going back to school to further his education as a cnc programmer. Usually you might think that it would be the other way around. So my advice is, age does not really matter, where you are in life does and of course there is a greater risk that your not at the same place if there’s a difference in age. But that does not have to be the case. So get to know him and if it feels right there’s no reason to let age stop you from getting to fall in love.
