You're right there is no mutuality here. I have never agreed to his line of thinking and he has made me feel like I'm the idiot for not falling in line or understanding his logic. Its clear to me now that he has some issues that I was unaware of which is fueling his way of thinking. Which by the way I believe that he 100 percent would cross the street to get a can of soup that is a dollar cheaper. And while he appreciates the comforts of a modern home he would online in a yurt, Infact he would thrive there because he is alone. Something that I have brought up from time to time is that he has no friends, he's not close with his brother, he has no sounding board for these crazy ideas. I believe at this point in time he would be happier without me even in his life but as we now have a child he seems bound to me for atleast some duration of time.
I'm open to quite a bit of compromise, as I said before I inform him of a lot of my purchases, wishes and wants but I just can't be held to this level of 100 percent disclosure and research.
