1. Had my husband asked if my intent was to get married two months into the relationship I would have yeeted him into the sun. I was also 30 at the time but i value marriage as a result of a successful union between compatible and loving partners, not something to aspire to as a generic milestone with some kind of inherent value.

   This is only my perspective, but in your case it might be helpful to consider whether marriage in itself is something you should focus on before assessing whether you are fully compatible and your love is deep enough to withstand the inevitable crap life throws at us going forward.
