Yes it is absolutely important to be honest about this. Some people are not okay dating someone who has solicited these types of services, and that is their right. She needs to be able to make an informed decision.

No reason to hate. I love women. They put up with a lot of BS behavior from men too and will be the first to say that they should have some self-respect and back themselves as well. I do think some people put up with a lot more than they should in relationships, and if they set and follow through on standards for themselves they could save a lot of trouble. There's also just a lot of naked air on reddit and people look for reasons to be mad at OP or blame them for their situation. Sure, some people could use some perspective to help see their missteps, but sometimes the pile on's are one sided, biased, and filled with absurd claims.
