Have you told him about how you used to live! before meeting him? Have you told him about your past trauma, it's significance, and how it effects your current decisions? Have you told him about your fears and need for safety? Have you told him he needs to prioritize you above strangers for you to feel loved?
I agree with you on her needing to go to therapy, and so does she. Sadly though in the UK the mental health services are pretty shocking and since we're both quite young we can't afford to shell out for therapy.
I know she's on a waiting list to get a therapist, but it's been months since we've heard anything.
