I’m here with the perspective that all is fine but separately the people are entitled to feel how they feel.
The problem with this “premise” is that it largely leads to having to defend against people who aren’t ok with it.
I don’t care that people have whatever opinions they have. I do, however care about people taking I inappropriate physical action against anyone in this context. If it happens, I’ll defend it, so still the fuck out.
Eh, I don’t have an issue with with acknowledging that it’s a factor at play here. It’s the ‘but’ after that’s inaccurate. It’s either ‘I’m overreacting’ or ‘they lied to me, and I’m upset’, not both, with this particular circumstance.
You can’t say, I can’t control my emotions and I recognize that this is my issue, but this is their fault because they deceived me. Pick one.
