I guess it’s very hot when these occasions make up like 5% of the friendship, max. The rest of the time she’s funny, loving, loyal, and deeply caring. Maybe I’m too much of a softie, but when you can see exactly where someone’s issues come from, and you can see in theory that they’re trying to work on themselves, that they deserve your empathy. I don’t think anyone deserves to have no friends because they struggle to handle themselves in one area of friendship. Do you think this is a ‘me’ problem? Or do you think I should push on with the kindness?
