  1. Please breakup with her. It’s unfair to start a relationship with someone and ask them to change something about themselves that isn’t causing harm to others.

  2. Need to reel yourself in OP before you get hurt from this relationship. Your reaction was way over board and to me that is a sign of codependency issues/clingy. If you let yourself go there it’ll end badly for you, always have yourself in mind and don’t get lost in the feeling.

  3. You really do seem to care about her comfort and you should be praised for being such a kind person. Unfortunately, you're no longer a bachelor now. You have another person to take into consideration, especially with so little space in a flat which would drive anyone batty. You may have to accept that you can't do the elaborate setup like you used to when you didn't have to share a space. You could still DM but it wouldn't be as grand. The other solution is that she keeps her own home.

  4. 100% tell them. Whether you do it before or after the divorce is up to you… I would do it before consequences be damned for the divorce.

  5. If you were taught to be racist as a child it can be difficult to unlearn it, but it isn't impossible. It does require being willing to listen and challenge your own beliefs and OP's boyfriend is choosing to shut down instead.

OP didn't call her boyfriend racist, but he clearly has internalized racist beliefs. It's far more dangerous to make excuses for racism than it is to point it out.

  6. Uh no. They are not married , he can also rescind any agreement to help out at any time. And no, just cuz someone is kinda unwell when you meet them and you had to do some more chores in the beginning, doesn't mean you then get forced into 24 7 full time care!

I'm a caregiver and we work in 24 shifts often cuz other caregivers come in since we are humsn and need a break! This guy never gets a single break.
