The husband admitted that he saw red when it happened and he acknowledged that to her. The father acted on purpose and saw nothing wrong with slapping his adult daughter for having the nerve to have her own beliefs that was the problem here. Now he’s too much of a coward to come see his daughter even though it was made clear that as long as he behaves the visit will be fine. He was taught a valuable lesson and even though he’s too scared to come back he’s at least never going to make that mistake again.

I have never ever heard a positive story about dating a social worker. It sounds like she is trying to recenter the attention on herself.
