I would be careful with the situation if there is concern for him retaliating against you. It would be very risky to tell her when you believe that he could become violent towards you. However pedophilia and crimes against children should never be brushed under the rug or silent. It is something to make it very public to everyone that interacts with them. It isn't an accident. Even if his crime was just related to pornography he supported the rape and abuse of children, to such a extent he got sexual pleasure from it. Please let her know in whatever way seems best with the evidence you have of his conviction. Depending on how long it has been since he was convicted and the charge it could even be criminal for him to not have notified you and now the new partner. I would also suggest letting your local sheriff know about the situation and your concern. You likely won't get many answers but it will keep him on their radar.

God, that might be years ago betrayals for her but this is todays betrayal for you. She lied to you for over a decade, your marriage is based on a lie, when she told her vows she knew, when she told you she loved you knew.
