I hate that phrase. Tons of people have kids in their early or mid 20s. I'd even argue it's easier to have good relationships with your kids if you do. If you're in your 50s or 60s and taking care of a 15 year old, you're way more out of touch and more likely to just be incapable of relating to your kid, than if you're in your 30s taking care of a 15 year old, or even in your 40s. In the long term, its probably better to have kids when you're in your 20s, so you can actually be present in their lives, and enjoy your time when they move out and you're still middle aged and not 60+.
