1. Its a pretty common problem, rather much made worse by trying to

   communicate in Social Media.

   Humans don't just communicate with speech and hearing, but also

   with gestures, tone, expressions, posture, proximity etc etc

   (see: metacommunication). In fact many forms of entertainment (see: comedy)

   actually depend on inflection, expression and gesture to turn a common

   statement into a wry observation. To make things tougher, some Humans

   are more dependent on these “cues” or “clues” and often experience

   miscommunications (see: “I don't get the joke”). The solution is simply to keep

   forms of communication simple and more informational and hold more

   Emotional or Intuitive communication until folks are F2F. It has become

   socially acceptable to defer with “lets wait on this til we're together again”

   for subjects that require detailed reflection.

   Not awful of terrible; just life being Life.
