As someone who has drank a lot more than the average person (former alcoholic) I will just say that “too drunk to consent” and “blackout drunk” don’t necessarily go hand in hand. People need to understand that blackout drunk isn’t always or even most of the time paralytic drunk. Most people in a blackout are some level of conscious.
It’s also worth remembering that the only person who is experiencing the blackout is the person at hand, to others you can appear completely normal drunk behaviour, so it’s not a given that OP was too drunk to consent just because she blacked out.
Now saying that, I think for both cases OP was almost certainly SA’d, I mean there’s way too many sketchy details to basically not draw that conclusion. I mean the guy in the first case has 100% at the very least manipulated a situation with someone who was impaired at the very least, and therefore would be considered SA.
